It seems to be talked about more and when I've visited it seems much more segregated. There definitely is racism in the UK but overall I'd say we have a more relaxed attitude towards race/colour. People of different races certainly seem to mix more over here. We're far from a colourblind society, but in my view segregation and tension is more obvious in America.

Have you ever heard of royalties? One hit wonder stars get paid off of royalties mostly because their one hit gets remade, played on commercials, redid for jingles..etc. Plus they can still travel the world on old school/80's/90's tours getting paid just singing that same song over & over.
