  • Hello, May I ask when is the wooden dummy introduced? . As a begginner when would you start trainning with it? Best Wishes Nick

  • @nicolasangelis it depends on the school you attend. However the dummy can be introduced pretty early on. I was first taught the dummy after my first grading. You learn the Shil Lim Tao form-understand its basics- this helps with your wooden dummy training. You wont learn all the moves in the one go. It is a process and you will learn the dummy in stages

  • Nice intro to Wing chun

  • I like how there is comments saying actually nin jitsu is the deadliest, no krav maga. no wing chun. no aikido. they are all deadly! its the person who practices the art if they can polish theyre skills and execute correctly. and wing chun has been proven superior against other styles in hong kong for years.

  • @maffia440 Dont choose which is better,Wing chun or boxing or ninjutsu or whatever. It all depends on the fighter it self on how well it can used the skill to an other styles

  • Hi everyone just to clarify i do say in the commentary that wing chun "is the deadiest art in the world , or so we are taught" i gues every instructor feels that and relays to their student. However it is never the art that is deadly , but the martial artist that executes correctly. So dont choose a style because it is the best . most lethal..can kill with a blink of an eye...choose what resonates with you and you will enjoy & have success

  • krav maga is actually the deadliest but i love wing chun

  • Good video.

  • Wing chun is the deadliest art alive? please. it works i even use it and the trapping, but most deadly, thats more than an overstatement.

  • This is a fantastic video highlighting the importance of Wingchun, and how it's such a beautiful but deadly martial art. I also thought the commentary was really smooth, and the knowledge was very in depth. Thanks alot :)

  • We all like wing chun here but NinJutsu is the most deadliest martial art in the world.

  • @maffia440 Dont choose which is better,Wing chun or boxing or ninjutsu or whatever. It all depends on the fighter it self on how well it can used the skill to an other styles

  • @maffia440 Ok Ninjutsu is a deadly art of course but it all about trapping breaking legs jump on one other and all but look it deadly for 1 on 1 fight but what about 5 on 1? you cant do the trapping on one guy...cuz the bottle will be on your head later but still...combination with wing chun is better though too ^^

  • @maffia440 buddah's palm is the deadliest

  • We all like wing chun here but Nin-Jutsu is the most deadliest martial art in the world.

  • those dummies are so expensive and building one is a bitch but whithout one is even worse..you can't get someone to train with you every time u feel like training..need dummy:)

  • hi there, the font i believe is Calibri..i used the background in powerpoint for mac..if you are looking to replicate i would suggest just go basic..thanks for your nice comments..feel free to also comment on the blog on the points you are interested..

  • What is the font you use in the presentation, and where do you get that background?

On-topic: Very good video, I will check your site out!

  • hehhe...not accurate pronounce of the form names...but good commentary anyways^_^

  • Ip Man Made it popular in my opinion. Ip Man was Bruce lee's Master.

  • @dsb713 Ip man influenced Bruce, and Bruce introduced it to the rest of the world through his movies and teachings.

  • I have that book. - Tao of Jeet Kune Do... Good book.
