The only thing i don't like about low wattage amps is when you're in a bigger place than where you practice. Because the low wattage isn't as great as it sounded in your little room. Sucks when you can't afford anything :(

If you have a small tube amp, turn the volume up and put a mic on it. If you have a solid state amp, it will not sound the same. What kind of amp are you using?
