The only problem with RO is that people seem to have a fear of laying down suppressing fire.
I've seen games where men have stood in the open facing the enemy line safe because men around him are unloading and keeping the enemy's heads down, but usually people only shoot when they think that shot will make a kill.
@CallingOfTheTiger Perhaps. The problem is that it's very difficult to pull off a very high quality machinima like that without making something that feels painfully cheesy or contrived. With my resources, I am much more able to make quality cinematic style movies that don't involve elements like voice acting, etc. I have written scripts for potential movies, however, so it's not like I can't do it. We'll see when RO2 comes out. Regardless you will see new movies for RO2!
is that "fanfare for the common man" i hear in the beginning? lol, gotta love ww2 game music.....mostly all rip off somebody else's work! but yes great vid
That was a very well put together movie, good to see that there are still some servers that prioritize teamwork and it's good to know people are still interested in making wonderful movies like this about the game.
Nope, no staging here! You should have seen me run around with no weapon, filming action shots online... interesting to say the least. Those shots are the pick of the litter, and oftentimes, the camera angle makes things alot more dramatic.
Thanks for the comments! I assure you, more RO movies are on the way!
nicely made mate :) some of this stuff looks to be staged, but as you said on the forums that that is not the case, i'm thrilled to see these people playing the way they did, supporting eachother etc. :) nice vid :)
Red Orchestra Is Best Played Using Teamwork, Going By Yourself Gets Boring Quickly, You Actually Feel Like If You Take Fire, Someone Will Back You Up Due To The Realism Of The Game.
yeah i know, i own the game and ive played it for over 350 hours now, so... even played it during the mod days, but in a lot of public servers there isnt allways much teamwork.

Well it definitely won't be until the patch comes out. Too many bugs and crashes to film what I need. I'll let you know.
