Glad you recognize that alternative approaches have helped people with MS. Dr. Stowe is also an alternative practitioner, who recommends vitamins, change of diet, etc. CBS ignored that and focused on a couple of people who Dr. Stowe had started trying to treat with stem cells, and ignored his treating them as well with the alternative approaches. He has cured many people of AIDS and cancer altho I'm not aware of his MS track record.  CBS edited the interview to make Dr. Stowe look very bad.

Of course the FDA blows. But this fucking guy - come on. There is a very very special place in hell for this motherfucker. My closest and best friend died of ALS. This guy LIED to people about his success with his treatments and took their money when they were at their weakest and most vulnerable. Why? Money and only money. He is the lowest form of life there is.

Like most alternative practitioners, he recommends dietary and other changes -- EFA supplements to reduce inflammation.... Natural methods, such as juice fasts, have cured cancer & MLS -- or at least extended lifespans & improved quality of life. Read any natural magazine.

In most big pharma tests, statistical effect usu not much more than placebo effect -- people want and need to believe to be cured.

In two hours, was 60 Minutes afraid to air the actual medical information that Dr. Stowe possesses, given that, as alternative medicine, it no doubt contained a lot of persuasive condemnation of traditional medicine. The fact is the FDA would not speak out against Dr. Stowe because it has approved oodles of cosmetics with stem cells. Dr. Stowe has cured many people of AIDS, cancer, and hepatitis with his dialysis treatments. I'm sure there is something to his new treatments as well.

@we15dan Horseshit! This asshole has not cured one single person - not one! There's not any objective/neutral documentation showing he has even helped someone. As you said-alternative approaches to sickness and disease do sometimes help a great deal. This is not an indictment on alternative medicine. This is an indictment on one evil motherfucker.
