I'm not a fan of the band The Jonas Brothers. Though some of their songs surprise me, and i find really really good. And no offense to any JB fans, but i think its because of Nick Jonas. I think this guy is incredibly talented, and is the reason why some songs break the barrier of some people, he can really sing, play, everything. I wouldn't mind listening to a solo Nick Jonas album.

About the "style" that you were reffering to, I think he was doing music that he liked. Since this sound is so different from what he does with his brothers, it seems like he likes this bluesy type thing better. Someone who does what they want in music, someone who doesnt confirm to the genres of the media, I wouldnt call someone like that cliche.
