I used to always bash the idea of buying in-game items as well, but some people only care about getting results and they don't care what the means to the end is nor do they care about moral or ethical game-play values. In their eyes at the end of the day who won the battle or has the better gear? But that's not really so much about the game-play experience as it is feeding ego or making money off casual game players.

4. I can save all that money for myself, with out spending any on rent, food, etc.
I can buy stuff i really like to have such as a new LED TV, a better computer (which i don't really need, but there's always a better computer), trips to warm places, and lots of more stuff i normally can't do with the money i get every month besides of this money i am going to earn from this wonderful game.
2. I can earn my living by playing a great game for exactly how much or long time i like without anyone complaining about it, and as i play it says "Kaching" in my bankaccount. Thats the best part.

I love the real money AH in games. People do not like the idea of players buying their gear with cash but that is already happening. Now the people playing the game will sale the extra gear they find rather than just the farmers. It still takes skill to be the top players, you can't buy talent. I'm just hoping that SWTOR doesn't cut into too much of my D3 farming time. Great video!

I don't like the amount of credit Athene is giving to Blizzard. There is already a ton of F2p games out there that have this real money trading system built into the game. Check out some of the PwE games. Battle of Immortals had this system since the beginning of it's launch. The reason so many gamers don't like this system is because they know that many f2p games turn into Pay to win games and slowly the game dies. A die-hard fan of Diablo wouldn't want D3 to die cuz of a pay to win mechanic.

if you dont like the real money auction house than dont use it... remember that players that use the AH got their items from the game, that mean YOU can get it to if you put the work in it... alot of these crafted items can also be obtained by making them... i play wow and have a toon with each profesion that i worked hard to get just so i dont spend countless ammounts of gold on getting the items i need. you can do the same, this is only a sudgestions.

I love the real money AH in games. People do not like the idea of players buying their gear with cash but that is already happening. Now the people playing the game will sale the extra gear they find rather than just the farmers. It still takes skill to be the top players, you can't buy talent. I'm just hoping that SWTOR doesn't cut into too much of my D3 farming time. Great video!

I don't like the amount of credit Athene is giving to Blizzard. There is already a ton of F2p games out there that have this real money trading system built into the game. Check out some of the PwE games. Battle of Immortals had this system since the beginning of it's launch. The reason so many gamers don't like this system is because they know that many f2p games turn into Pay to win games and slowly the game dies. A die-hard fan of Diablo wouldn't want D3 to die cuz of a pay to win mechanic.
