This is like one of the most epic moments of charmed and all, and i love it, but like... If they had planned to freeze them and put one in front of the other while the other one was in the middle of throwing a fire ball, why didn't Piper freeze them the first time instead of blowing up the fireball in front of her causing an explosion that knocked all 3 sisters backwards... Would have made more sense and there wouldn't be any need for paige to orb out :P

When we say more powerful witch we don't refer to the personal power (telekinisis, time freeze, exploding...).

We refer to the power that the witch has general.

Phoebe for example could have been more powerful than the others if she was first, even with her "non active power".

Prue as the older one is the most powelful sister despite that telekinisis doesn't kill imediately.

Her power/energy can do more damage or can be more effective with a spell than the other 3 sisters.

Remember Shax again.

About what u say.... the first, i also said they call their ancestors to support them. i said the same thing , ok i didn't mention how many are and their names because we all know that...i think.

Secondly, Prue is the strongest of the 4 sisters. Piper has a more active "personal power" , exploding, but as a witch power Prue has bigger power.

You can see that with Shax for instance. Prue & Piper had enough power to vanquish him with the spell but Piper & Phoebe could only hurt him not kill him.

@vaggos013 ermm piper and phoebe never sed tried to vanquish shax together it was just phoebe on her own and then piper and prue, and the fact it worked tha second time cant be assumed to be because of prue because prue even sed the spell needs more than 1 witch to have its full effect. As for the strongest charmed one, in my opinion its obviously piper and when u tlk about 'general power' i would say its all equal among the charmed ones.

Look about Shax...when Cole made the world without Paige (with the avatar power, i hope u remember the epsd) we saw Piper hunting Shax and trying to find a way to kill him, so if she &Phoebe could killed him they would have done it. Shax's vanquish spell supposed to need the P3. But we saw Prue and Piper killing him.

Piper has an exploding active power and we saw its revolution with the passing of years. Prue's power would be more powerful..see the ep. when they travelled in future (when Phoebe was in danger of execution). Also in all first 3 seasons Prue appears to be the strongest, after her death the total P3 changed and Piper had most power than the other 2.

We never see Piper's exploding power in 2009 so u cant reallii judge tht and as for prue SEEMING to be the strongest is just a result of the director or something, not part of the real charmed story.

The Source is the strongest right? And they vanquished Source/Seer with that spell.

There are different ingredients that are needed to successfully vanquish a demon. These ingredients can either be a mixture of the right words or a mixture of the right potion ingredients.

If you use a simple spell on a demon without knowing its power level, you can most likely stun it instead of vanquish it. The Po3 spell isn't the strongest spell. It's a simple spell that works as a protection spell. Notice most times they used it was when they were being attacked.

Two times I can think of, first episode with jeremy and Womb Raider with the Seer. They chanted it as they were being attacked with whatever. The spell protected them from harm and in turn vanquished the demon.

One last thing, the source was not the strongest. It's implied the Triad was. The source was vanquished with a spell, but with the Triad, there was no known vanquish. In order to do it, you had to weaken their collective, the Charmed Ones' same weakness.

so we have the power of three plus Prue's power (the strongest of the charmed ones) and the powers of the other witches in one spell.

The "Power Of Three" spell is actually a protective spell, not a vanquishing spell. When they vanquished the Seer they used the spell to protect themselves to make the Seer tap into all the baby's power to destroy her.

Just like when it was first used on Jeremy the warlock, the spell protected the sisters from his powers and deflected it back onto him killing him.

@vaggos013 Well if you watch the episode when they kill the source, they needed to call all of the magic from the Halliwell line to kill him therefore a power of three spell wouldn't work. Hence "Pruedence (Prue), Patricia (their mom), Penelopy( Grams), Melinda (Duh), Astrid, Helen, Lora, and Grace (Other Haliwell witches), Haliwell witches stand strong beside us, vanquish this evil from time and space.

Piper have the most devastating personal power but it doesn't work all the time. Prue have martial skills, astral projection and telekinesis, She can easly knock out all demons. Prue Rocks!

@SameBoy817 @SameBoy817 what u say is not right according to the series bcs when the Charmed ones were trapped in a cage by the Seer when she was the Source, they killed her and all the other demons who were there by casting the "power of three spell". They killed the Source of all evil (at that time the Seer) and many demons with that spell, while she was trying to kill the girls with her powers (watch the video and u ll see). But ok i understand its a show and they had to do new things.

But the enemy outside the cage (Seer/Source) could kill them, that's why she attacked them. If the outside person couldnt use magic too, the Seer/Source wouldnt attack. When she attacked they said the "p3 spell" and kill her and the other demons. But i say again there is not logical explanation bcs it was a tv show and they had to do new things.:)

@SameBoy817 Not Really, the only reason is that the Power of 3 spell is used as a barrier, it can deflect any type of attacks (Wyatt, Elders, Tribunal - Anyone's attacks) however it can't really be used offensively since it is not made to kill someone, but for protection. The spell can also be used to kill warlocks in close proximity.

Also why did it take so long for them to come back, does the power balance have to shift more to evil. I know the sisters faked their deaths and hence weren't out facing demons, so it might have been enough for them to come back. I just wondered since there's a 5 1/2 gap bet. when they got vanquished and when they came back.

Since Prue could move stuff with her mind, it should have made more sense to give her the Levitation power, seeing as it makes more sense with the "being able to move your body" thing, and they should have given Phoebe the Astral Projection power seeing as it was more psychic and would compliment her martial arts ability better than levitation does

Different actors firstly, second, they stated that it would take another demon to vanquish the triad, like cole did in season 3.

They had to divide and conquer here so their collective could be weakened. By having one of the triad vanquish another, their triad was weakened, which thereby made it simple for Piper to blow up the remaining one.
