I grew up watching these characters, The Hamburgular, Grimace, The MacFry guys, Mayor MacCheese. They had these commecials like this one here in America too. All the Ronald MacDonalds look alike all over.

Those were the days when McDonalds sold their burgers in styrofoam packaging. You could open the lid and tip your fries into the lid and eat your burger and fries neatly out of the same container.

I think it's an old australian television commercial version of McDonald's. It was aired in Australia in the early 1980's.

This version of Ronald is the one I grew up with on telly - I could always tell when it was a new actor. BTW, kids these days don't believe me when I tell them that back in the day c.1980, Maccas Aust had a performing roadshow that toured schools in Sydney - they'd give out freebies at the end of each show. Imagine the uproar in schools today if Maccas tried that!
