Some people are just plain stupid, case in point these idiots in the video. I guess they must have let their brains fall out before heading to the falls.

These guys are idiots. And anyone else who would do this or has done this is an idiot. I worked in the park and even born and raised in the U.P., this is not the fall to be jumping from. As the guy down below said, there is only one small area at the base of the falls that is deep enough to accomodate a 50 ft jump. If the current from the churning of the water doesn't keep you down, crushing yourself on the rocks will.

There is more to this video ,They do jump!!I have seen rest of it also here on u-tube.The ignorance of youth!! I go here every year as I only live a short distance from the falls. I only hope That this wont catch on ,because someone will get killed. as it is now you can go right to edge of upper and lower falls.I hope it stays that way , and stupid kids like these dont wreck it for all of us.

google how many have died doing this over the years. I've lived up here for twenty years and we yoopers just shake our heads when we hear about it.think about it, 50' feet, land wrong, you're dead. I've fished below the falls, walk down and check out the rocks. Just don't want anyone else hurt.
