BubbleCake, YES there was a Tornado. I'm from BC and never saw a storm like that in my life. I was driving about .5 a kilometre infront of that storm and saw one touchdown in the field beside me at 5:46pm
I watched the storm from Edmonton and it wasn't nearly as intense there, but you could see EXTREMELY DARK clouds out to the west and then tracking off to the southeast at an incredible 100 km/h! The high winds lashed the trees near my place in west Edmonton! This was at 5 pm, well before the storm hit around 6 pm in Camrose, so I wish that the warning got out to concert goers in time! The storms were on radar hours before, jetting towards Camrose. My sympathy to the lady who didn't survive.
weather is unpredictable you know, nobody could have seen this coming even with the most advanced weather equipment. accidents happen, otherwise people would not die from tonadoes, hurricanes, and lightning and floods, think about it.
coming from someone that was there... there really nothing anyone could of done. If you would of took time to look into it better you would of known that the RCMP weather detection (which the technology would be hell of a more advanced then the weather network) did not know it was gonna hit untill 5:55....there was 130 km winds at 5:57 that came from every direction... do you honestly think 2 mins is enough time to warn thousands of ppl over 1 massive main ground site and camping area??
Hey EVERYBODY!! I'm a lil' new to this youtube stuff, but i have some very kool videos i put today!!! I'm a wierd breed of a musician and a breakdancer put together. you be the judge to see how good or not good i am at both!! GO GO GO and thanks :-) i would love to hear your opinion on my total diffrent genres. Check them out now!!!!!
I haven't heard of any youtube videos of the actual collapse, but they have a tower that records and live streams everything to the jumbo trons, so they will use that for the investigation.
These storms are horrible. For the past two weeks it has been insane wind/dry lightning storms every night! The lightning is starting so many fires the sky is really hazy during the day with smoke.
No I did not. From my view the stage was to the left. About 5 minutes after this video we heard people starting to talk about the stage had collapsed and people were trapped underneath it
Very Scary...

Did you get any videos of the stage collapse? I'm sure it could be helpful to the officials who are trying to find out exactly what happened...
