wow......the u.s are stupid, why would they deploy at a completely open field, with no cover whatsoever xept their transport, and in range of artillery bombardment? if its a war in real life, they are so dead if thats what they do.

It'd be awesome if they included the mission editor tool again , and made it moddable like in OFP / ARMA. I dont think it'll be like COD4 -- cool as that was it wasn't a sim.

Doesnt seem like this will be at all like OFP. The creators of OFP already have a sequel called Armed Assault.

This game looks like its going to be an attempt at BF2 or Cod4 or something, not a military sim like OFP and ArmA are.

ARMA Armed Assault is a bad remix of OFP by Atari but with better graphics

but OFP2 will be awesome but they need to add some VBS2 stuff like IN GAME UNIT PLACEMENT

Are you oblivious? The people who made OFP (Bohemia) then went on to Make Armed Assault, and they lost the Opflash name because it belonged to Codemasters who did NOT make OFP. This game will be NOTHING like OFP.

It may yet prove to be a good game non-the-less but dont expect VBS kind of attention in it. It will be dumbed down and arcade like all games are going (eg the Rainbow 6 series).

It's not a bad remix by Atari. Atari was the distributor for the the U.S. version of the game, Bohemia Interactive made ArmA, just like they made OFP. Don't count on OFP2 being too much like the original, I'd put that bet on ArmA2 due to be released in 09.
