The speed is impressive and similar to that in the John Williams recording of The Bach suites. My only advice would be to try and relax more, your breathing seems labored, as if at times you're holding it, because you are straining. So I would go for more relaxation, a beautiful full sound, and flow rather than speed. Having said this I think you a very good guitar player. Well done!

I have always wanted to learn to play classical music properly, but I have neglected to learn to use the fingers on my right hand properly and so only feel comfortable using my thumb and middle finger for picking which makes playing these kind of songs almost impossible to play fluidly. Do you have any suggestions for learning to properly use all fingers for picking? I primarily play electric guitar but am trying to expand.

While you may prefer the slower pace taken by Chris Broderick, the speed is defined in relation to the Gigue of the same suite - double the speed, in fact, hence the name. This isn't an isolated piece, and it definitely isn't a 'song' or a 'cover' . Search for 'Bach Lute Suites' if you are interested to learn an accurate context.

And unless you've a video of Bach playing (!) you have no idea how fast the 'original' was. But a bit of research into the suite will show that the 'gigue' is a dance and the 'double' is an elaboration twice as fast. And what you said wasn't an opinion: you said "search Chris Broderick for an accurate tempo". Lay off her.

I think the beat is the same as the giga as the double is the ornamented variation of a previous piece. Congratulations on your interpetation as its very hard specially for right hand.

I just played the whole suite at school and played the giga and the double with no repeats as I was getting very tired.

The whole suite is composed of Prelude-Fugue-Sarabande-Gigue-­Double.
