You know , I think every Line should keep at least one of each of the locos of their predecessor in their original logoto serve as a memorial to yesteryear. Is it me or does railfanniing loses its luster somewhat as it streamline thier fleets? Opinions open. But, i will enjoy the Dash 8's on the CN Tracks here, thanks! CN has gone Dash 8 Crazy, and that's cool! We now have the ex-C&NW Standard Cab's to go with the Dash 8-40CM Full Car Bodies, haha! Actually a lot of crews like them because theyre too big of whiny ball babbies to run some like a SD40. I ll admit theyre nice, but Ive been working for these guys since 2000 and Ive never had a SD40 or SD60 crap out on me like a GE. One time I was running a freight w/ 2 GE's and a SD40. The 2nd GE took a crap not even 100ft out of the yard, but they told me to keep goin. Then latrer the leard took a crap so I shut it off and just ran the train w/ only the SD40 pulling.

SD60's have all the old controls and no computer, but I dont mind it. Another reason theyre so good is because BN took care of their power. Santa Fe just didnt care and was cheap and worthless like BNSF.
