I really like the design of this Sovereign-class starship better than the Enterprise.

In particular, I like that this one has a "Neck" section, whereas most starships, like the Ent E & Voyager don't.

In addition, I like that the Romulan emblem can be seen, unlike the "Next Generation" version which is barely visible.

To bad there aren't any model kits of these 2 ships. I'd certainly would love to build & display them.

ok that is fairly well done, the modeling looks good and the effects not too bad, but as said b4, shields, the ships do have them.

second, it was too fast, the ships blowing up the weapons/torpedos shooting were all too fast, faster than most starship explosions thou granted it does depend on whats shooting at what (capital ship vs little destroyer)

Federation starships are incredibly faster and more maneuverable than any starship in BSG. The ships do move way too fast when they get hit with weapons fire.

This video is a absolutely fantastic, but just one question I needed to ask, why are there Romulan ships from the 23rd century (at 00:55) fighting in a 24th century war?

Unless the Romulans are so committed in domination that they're using literally "EVERY" ship that they have in their conquest.

You should watch the battles of Deep Space Nine; prime example, Battle of Chintoka, you'd see that no vessel has shields, not even the USS Defiant.

Or the DS9 episode "Favour the Bold" when every ship in the Dominion and Starfleet had no shields either.

After star trek Nemesis I don't wont to see them any more. Once it was proposed that star trek creators create a film about Borg return and then they give up of that idea. God knows way. This trailer is fine and good example that with little money you can build and create something good. If fans can create something like this way can people with money(paramount). I'm much happier with the Trinity score though. I just got a preview of the visuals that Escelce has created so far and it is incredible. He definitely outdid his work on this one. As much as I like having him as a business partner he really needs to be picked up by ILM or Dreamworks. Of course he's too stubborn to leave England for that.

lol, yea it would be great to work on a new series. But with cbs and friends cancelling 30 shows, owing to problems with the writing staff and others, i don't think we'll see a new show for a while.  Best not to bankrupt a studio over one show. But hopefully they've got some good ideas in the works. i'd like to see braga and berman put their heads together for the show.

Excellent job! And I don't say that lightly, the problem with most battle sequences is that when a torpedo or weapon hits you can feel it, here though, I could feel the impact, and the voice actor was excellent! The only recommendation I could possibly make is a more pronounced jagged gritty tear when a piece of the ship is destroyed.
