Well done! What a shame for the unexpected loss against Ljubicic but anyways we can feel he's slowly getting back to the top! Great thing for tennis(even, and maybe more for a Roger fan like me!)

Looks like nadal is back at his best and its sad to see him loose in the semi final i really tought he would defend his title but i think he could bounce back and he really must do that because he must defend so many titles on the european clay counrt season if he does he might even win Roland Garros cant wait for that

he's movement is also less labored now. not saying he hasn't always been fast but its smoother now and he's ending points a lot quicker with a hybrid flat spin forehand lol. Its good to see. Its great to see him back. It'll be nice to have another rog v rafa match. I'd like to see this improved rafa against the uber confident fed. It'll be nice.

Die hard nadal fans might take this as the ultimate insult and I would like to apologize before hand... so I apologize... Ok now that THAT is outta the way, I noticed from watching this match -and this is the first match of nadal's that I have watched since the aussie that his game while still retaining the same grit and intensity it has always had, seems to have a federer type of finesse and quality to it now. 0:26 volley was amazing and a nadal of a year ago would probably not have made that.

Federer-like? Having finesse, and being able to volley amazingly isn't unique to Federer's style of game. He's always been able to volley amazingly - watch the highlights for the Rafa-Roger AO final 09. But you're entitled to an opinion, just as I am.

breathtaking stab volleys are not

unique to Federer. Just the same that

sky slams and booming serves are not

unique to Sampras. Even the unique

whipping motion of Nadal's forehand is not

so unique to him. But these are the guys

that made all of the above mentioned

plays famous.

@shirgen6 Who would have thought Finesse versus power would win 16 GS. Federer raised the bar and like it or not any beauty point will almost always be associated with him just like sky slams are associated with Sampras. But that's besides the point. What i'm saying is Nadal's all court game seems more mature and confident now than before when he'd rather have stuck to his baseline bullying tactics. Oh and finally yeah he's always been a good volleyer but he's great at it now.
