Doesn't that depend on where you watch it? I know Microsoft bleeped for xbox. And I'm sure the on dvd's it isn't. And it was about half/half on MSN video in the beginning (S1) but don't know about how it was in the end.

Dr. Horrible is a pointless rip-off of Dr. Steel, and it is absolutely insulting and unforgivable that Felicia Day and The Guild would associate with trash like Joss Whedon. The fact that Ms. Day is a talented, and struggling, artist should make her more sympathetic than she seems to be. The fact that he blatantly plagiarized Dr. Steel is, at least, his attempt at being honest about talentless hack Whedon is. Ms. Day has now condoned plagiarism in her support of Dr. Horrible. @maize5 You mean... that they both wear lab coats? I realize you posted this a long time ago, but I can't help replying to the absurdity of your comment. They both dress like scientists, and they both sing, but as far as I know Steel is very steampunk, a toymaker dealing with robots, etc. Horrible's type of science as well as his personality seems completely different. Nothing's 100% original but you can't see a mad scientist and call foul. It's one of the most common tropes there is.

@maize5 Not to mention, have you glanced at any of Whedon's other work? "Buffy" was genre breaking... I'd almost say genre defining in its originality. "Firefly" might not have survived long on network tv but no one can suggest that it was anything less than an incredibly unique view of the future and space travel. And "Dollhouse" dealt with the idea of mental programming/sleeper agents in a way I've never seen before. The man's a creative genius.
