There's nothing to say that you can't just add ITF drills and techniques into your current training (multi-kicks etc). I've always training by WTF standards, but I mix various elements together for my training.

The only problem would be when you came to entering competitions. If you sparred by WTF-style rules then you wouldn't be permitted to do a lot of this stuff, like punches to the head, kicks to the front of head, KO's might also incurr penalties etc. But no need to switch :-)

Don't blame him, a third degree shouldn't be kicking a colour belt when he's down like that - I'm pretty sure self control is one of the tenents.

He isn't a colored belt. One of the competitors in ITF competition always wears a colored sash so the judges can tell the two competitors apart. They are both Dans.
