@bartp84 nobody's telling you to do anything! If you do happen to be a creative individual however, you might recognise the iPads potential for painting, music production and animation.
@catha86 I don't have one yet, but I've been painting on my phone and had a go on the iPad. I really want it for animation too, the phone is way too small for that.
wtf is this dump shit , does Bill Gates tell us to become a paint artist using Microsoft Paint??? I dont think so , you will never be able to paint something decent without doing it like it always has done: on paper with paint!!!
@bartp84 hhahahahah bill gates and ipad? hhahahahahaha, get facts before trolling, digital its just tools paper and grains you get deep effects easier than digital.
I am watching from my iPad. Which is better though? Brushes. Or Sketchpad Pro? @ireallyllikedrawing if you really must know, coloring in a drawing and adding effects to it to make it look nicer. That's why we use it. >:-(
If they ever make Photoshop iPad-able, I will definitely buy one. But this sketchbook pro business... I dunno. I'm not sold on it yet but my eyebrows are definitely in the UP position.
i was listening to sex therapy in the background and i didnt want this to get in the way of the song, so i muted it and i didnt understand a thing that was going on!
@smexTTS if you jailbreak your iPad or any iOs device you can get nearly all apps from the app store for free and if you like them you can buy them. its called installus.
@MrRavewolf iPad has a special App (that was made very well, I might include) that is included with every iPad so that anyone can view any video from YouTube. So you don't need flash support if you want to view a video that has been uploaded on YouTube.
lol, yeah I noticed that too...I'd be nervous too!! But hey, I agree with the app being awesome. I downloaded it last night and couldn't put it down...like literally I had to fall asleep to stop. I can't wait...CAN'T WAIT to try it on the iPad!
I wonder if apple is going to make you pay for this if you already have the iPhone version. It's basically the same thing just with a playback of your actions and the ability to save colors.
In a way I agree with you. If I was a developer and I spent hours, weeks, or even months developing an application i would want to charge people for it but i don't think adding two features (from what I can see) justifies buying all over again, it sounds like more of an update. However if a developer adds quite a few new features, then IMO that justifies buying it again.
@mattmit totally agree. I have a macbook for the real work and browsing. Ipad is for my artistic work and free time. So have you bought the ipad and the painting apps? hows painting on an ipad?
Brushes is a terrific app as it is, but consider how it would be as an artisitic medium with a pressure sensitive brush that had capacitive bristles, this thing could mimic water colors, oils, acrylics etc better than anything out there.
Great app, I love it. I works and brushes are greatest apps on ipad. Cant wait to try :) I just don't understand about tatblet pc's, friend says that its pressure sensitive, but capasitive screen isnt i thing.. jI heard something about synthesizer or etc but don't understand wtf is it

@bndoarn
That's not Apple's decision but the developer's. I think he's gonna make the customers pay twice which - in my opinion - is absolutely okay.

You are not just getting two extra features, you also get to paint on the much bigger screen/canvas, I'm sure that alone is worth paying a bit extra.

I think you can sync all of your iphone apps to your ipad for free.
