Kyuss was very creative band and we mustn't compare this band with Unida or Hermano. Unida and Hermano are very, very good (Johnny in vocal etc.) and I feel there "ghots of Kyuss" but - Kyuss is the best 4ever!!! Johnny Garcia the best...

Why compare Unida to Kyuss? Both are f*cking superb, but Kyuss were one of the 'proper' Stonerrock bands...Unida are a HEAVY ROCK 'N' ROLL band...more groovy (as someone's already said) than Kyuss ever were, a lot more accessible by a straight ahead Rock audience too...Unida and Hermano, yes, many similarities there - although myself I prefer Unida easily - Garcia's voice isn't really on top form here mind, big shame - one of the best voices in rock, NO doubt whatsoever...

The only appeal to Unida is john garcia....catchy riff though...Still nothing on Kyuss. Slo Burn are better than Unida aswell

Josh's music has become so much more interesting and original. Unida is a Deep Purple rip off, and not very original. It sounds like 14 year olds in a garage that said "ooh look what I can do". Why do people think this 70's rip off singer is that good anyway. He is off key all the time.

I just find his meter, cadance and vocal structuring very similar to 70's style rock singers. I think if you listen to lesser popular Deep Purple songs you will hear more similarities to Gillan. He also doesn't have much range. He's not bad, just not a top flight singer IMO.

Josh thought his best work wasn't good enough? Dude, do you know the KYUSS boys or something? The only band that Josh ripped on John for being in was Slo-Burn. And it was true, those dudes were shitty musicians.

Not only have you never heard Garcia's best work, you haven't even been graced with Josh's best work.

I love John Garcia. I just found out I can sing at band practice yesterday.

We were trying out this wussy new singer and he asked me to show him how it needs to be done. I thought, "I need these words to sound badass...." and John came out of me.

I'm the singer now.
