I remember when I was forced to watch Pearl Harbor freshman year. Right when I saw Michael Bays name appear on the screen, I lost all hope. I cringed at how terrible the writing and acting were, and how inaccurate it was. The way Michael Bay just threw a bunch of over-the-top explosions and tried to tie it together with a shitty love story is sad. And the worst part is, all of my classmates loved it! The girls were swooning over Affleck while the guys were admiring the explosions.

@IlldariCouncil I think the point Trey Parker and Matt Stone were making when they made this song was this... At the time Pearl Harbor was attached the whole country felt like they got punched in the face. It was a sad time for the world. Most of America just wanted to get on with farming and living their lives. Instead, they got dragged into war. It seems that when Michael Bay went to history class his teacher said to him "Pearl Harbor happened and something about love"

For those who think the attack scene was good....well you have watched too many video games. They had the ability to portray the attack acurately.......they fucked it up beaucoup!
