Awesome. And yeah, initially you could argue that Cohaagen is lying, but clearly he truly believes that it would kill them, otherwise he wouldn't try and stop Ahnold when he was being sucked out.

Actually, he's a pretty heroic guy, trying to save Mars even when he's about to die himself. Kind of a bitch move for Arnie to pull him off at the end there.

It is all fake anyway. Quaid is really lying brainded in the memory holiday company. All the stuff he wanted for his memorytrip (the secret agent stuff, the alien ruins, the girl) happen, which proves the whole movie is just in his head.

Well, I wouldn't say it proves it. It definitely leaves it ambiguous, which is the point of the ending.

However remember that the Rekall technician says that Quaid started having his embolism before he even implanted the fake memories.
