  • @bennythelazy2 It's called Sharkies Night, but I have no idea who it's by

  • @kermadum Laurie Anderson

  • he looks alittle like michael alig in a few parts... hmmmm

  • You can also become a fan of Ladies Please on Facebook, post comments, reviews, fan pics, videos, share it with your friends etc. Check it out.

  • Yeah. It's a doco that was made at the same time Priscilla Queen of the Desert was made. Back in '94. Awesome documentary showcasing the people that it was loosely based on. The guy we see in this clip actually did some of the make-up in the movie. Brilliant stuff!

  • The Ladies Please Collectors Edition DVD is out now! Available from the Rebelstudio Website and selected retailers.

  • I remember seeing this docco on ABC-TV Aus in mid 90s. Glad to know it's still around and to be available.

  • Anyway, thanks for your comments! I look forward to purchasing the DVD in September -- that's very soon!!

  • I guess an American studio will have to manufacture an R1/NTSC version. I don't know why American studios have never made it available for R1/NTSC!

  • Rebelstudio will be releasing an exclusive collectors edition DVD of Ladies Please later this year. No release dates confirmed yet, but if you go to the Rebelstudio website and sign up for the newsletter we'll be making further announcements through that.

  • Thanks Rebel. This is my favorite movie EVER. I saw in on PBS in SF, then called Minotaur to get a copy of it but all they give out is a washed up PAL video. Will be very glad to have it on DVD!!!!!

  • Hi Rebel -- can you also release it on REGION 1 DVD as well? I've told all my friends in America about it over the years, and it's frustrating for them not to be able to view in on a Region 1 DVD.

    Thanks in advance!

  • The DVD will be playable in all regions, including America, but will initially only be available in the PAL format (not NTSC which is more common in America). Many DVD players will play both PAL and NTSC standard discs these days, but you may wish to check your player.

  • Sorry, not following that: "will be playable in all regions" and then "initially only be available in PAL" -- does that mean you will not release a region-free or a Region 1 DVD until some unspecified time in the distant future?

  • The DVD will be region free, and formatted to the PAL video standard. Most of the world uses the PAL standard, except America (and a couple of other countries) who use NTSC. A Region 1 machine will play the disc with no problem provided it also supports the PAL video format (which varies between brands).

  • whats the guys name at the start??

    stuart sum1

  • his name is Stuart Garske my friend

  • okey....nice to meet you

  • Wonderful

  • you can see the rest of it in a feature on the 'priscilla queen of the desert' DVD...

  • fabulous!

  • where do we see the full length of this video?

  • hey there , To answer your question, you could get hold of the tenth year anniverasy Priscilla dvd or if you have foxtell apparently it's on about every five weeks or so. Other than that, try ABC (channel 2) they are the people who oproduced it. good luck and hope you enjoy it,

  • I'm in America -- so I've got maybe 1 of those 3 options

  • Hi Stryker, loved you in Ladies Please! I can't wait to get a DVD of the film.
