@antnie0425 go to options then at the the controls menu go to advance and then check enable develpor console. close it and in game press the "~' key at the corner of ur keyboard under ESC. hope this helped.

When I type in startmovie "name" avi the codec thing is appearing, but I can only choose the one it starts on... pictures or something like that

okay so when you play the demo you can type playmovie in console and then type endmovie to stop it and then it will be saved as AVI?????

then it will be saved as avi

You need to encode it with a codec like Xvid or H.264 (there are more but these are the most common).

You have to play your source game in the best quality ( widescreen 1276x700 or something.) which you can change in options, and video. And you choose the quality in the video, by choosing 100... as I did in the video.

If you have chosen these options, it should be in HD.

u can do it HD with Vegas pro 8, camtasia studio 5 and Windows movie maker i think =)
