It took three days to shoot this scene; they started on a Thursday and took off for the weekend.

Since they used REAL pie ingredients, the place STUNK of rotting dairy when they came back on Monday and the whole place had to be ventilated before anyone was really willing to re-enter the set.

@SatchmoSings Wow that sounds like you were there working in some capacity on this picture,I have never encountered anyone associated with this picture,But i will tell you as a child I saw this movie in the theatre and throughout my life have recited word for word so many scenes from this movie especially jack lemmon with"Brandy?
