I really like the system. But, I have one very big problem with it. Every video I have seen, they are trying to market this system to the hunting community. Lets be real hear, how many people you know have weapon platforms like the ones in this video? I only know of one personally. The weapon sys that are all seen in these videos are in excess of $2500 + guns. I have never seen this sys used on off the shelf Rem 700BDL or a Win M70. It upsets me that the folks in these ....... cont
@TheRubberDuck139 The folks in these videos do not mention that for the Horus system to work and function as it was intended, you will need to purchase the ATrag software. The software ranges from $250 up $600. The higher priced software, from what I have seen, comes with its own palm pilot. Like it or not, this sys is designed for the LR shooter (comp) and not the average weekend hunter where shots average from 50-40yrds. For LR shooting you need a scope with extremely good glass.... cont
@TheRubberDuck139 the $250-$600 scopes do not have the capabilities to perform under long range conditions. Most weekend shooters are using these. For the Horus system to shine, it obviously needs the ATrag. It would help greatly to have a scope that was front focal planed and the it would help to have the best glass possible to avoid distortion of the object at long ranges. Combine a distortion with some parallax error and you’ll have a real tough time shooting accurately.
