@urborg74 Depends, the ending of FFX is actually part of what makes it a masterpiece, while FFX-2 is just there since they knew people would want that Tidus come back. FFX kicks ass!

When Tidus/Yuna defeated Sin and let the fayth finally stop dreaming, Tidus dissapeared. That's why he left at the end... There's another spoiler I could throw out there but I'd rathe not

Tip: Yu Yevon is weak to status alignments, that means Zombie, and he counters with Curaga, so that might help you. And question, does the THE END sign go on forever at the very end?

He was real, Once. Back when Zanikand wasn't Ruins, but in the future (Future with Yuna, Rikku, Lulu and Wakka). Zanikand is all ruins, And Tidus and Jecht and everyone from back then died long ago, However! They were only ever dreams of the fayth, Its hard to explain with limited msg length. Basically, Fayth dream of a time when everything was peaceful, That is what Tidus is, a Dream. But Sin somehow brings him to become real. but when Fayth turn to stone and Sin is sent, Tidus fades.
Only reason he is in X-2 I believe was to keep the fans happy, No one liked how X turned out. Tidus not being real etc, So if you get 100%. Tidus comes back. Just so people can be happy with the ending.
What the hell? In the Japanese version Yuna doesn't say "I love you" to Tidus, this is bullshit.

The ending to 10 was pure evil...when X-2 came out I don't know anyone who was able to skip buying it. They HAD to get Tidus back.
