Man, Haley Joel Osment is such an underrated actor; I think he's amazing. I watched this movie in my team leadership class in the 7th grade. It has been a long time since I've seen this movie; I never remembered the name of it, though. Half the class was in tears, and I was trying really hard not to be. It's such a good movie with a powerful message. I remember being pissed off about the ending. Still makes me mad.

I didn't like this movie, the little kid was so naive that it irritated me, he had a fucked up homelife and masked his pain by helping others instead of getting some help himself same with the teacher. I liked the old woman and the convict's storyline better and also the death scene came out of nowhere the bullies should've been more involved in harrassing him if that was gonna happen.
