P.s; If you look from above at the Female...you should see a 'square-shape' where the babies are all stored/developing.....the dark spots are the eyes of the Fry forming.
ugh....i really really apreciate ur help....but turns out....this morning, aroung 10....i saw her, just, kind of floating, or just standing neer the surface of the water thier....the male wa near by....so then...i see this tiny little tail stiking out from under her i thought "HEY ITS HER FIRST FRY, YEY!....then the phone rang and i had to go and answer....by the time i came back *12 minutes* she didnt have a gravid spot....and one of my ghost shrimp was eating, that one little fry...((CONTINUED
+ Swordtails will be constantly pregnant if there are Males/Females in same tank......it takes about 3-4 weeks for them to Drop the fry from the Mating time. - The male will harrass / chase a lot, s it's good to seperate once she is showing the Drak 'Gravid' spot. - The male will chase her a lot when he senses the Fry are ready to be born........Feed the Fry on crushed / powdered Flake or perhaps Baby Brineshrimp/ Crushed Frozen Foods.
i was soooo upset....omg i was like "OMG HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN??"" now she doesnt have the gravid spot....and shes thinner then b4... will she ever give birth again anytime soon? i have 2 female swordtails *one black, and the spoted one in the video* and 2 males *spoted one and blood red one* ugh.... kinda gets me a lil upset.....
p.s. i have a small pregnant female guppy, she looks like shes about to EXPLODE and she does has that lil gravid spot, its realy big..when should i seperate her?
Don't worry - they will have more Fry in about a months time......Feed them with good frozen Bloodworm/Brineshrimp aswell as Greens and Flakes....the bigger the Female - the more Fry.
I'd put the Guppy in the Spare Tank / Trap now and see how it goes.....
..It's a bit dark to tell if she's definately pregnant.......I'd wait until the stomach gets larger / plumper...the dark spot will become bigger and she'll start to rest on the gravel-bed or beside plants.......put in a seperate Tank (2ft. ish) with a lot of plants (Java Ferns, Floating, Vallis...) Then once she is thinner...you'll find 20-30 babies in amongst the plants.......remove the Mother to stop her eating them! - Or, get a Floating Trap and put her in it when she is very fat....
Awww id love to help, buuuuut... Can't! They have lights in houses ya know! But good effort!
