If you put it in park and keep handbrake on you can hit standard driving limiter. Neutral limits early. Post another video of it in park.

no its to protect the gearbox, so you dont rev it to 6000rpm and drop it in drive, you can rev it passed 3000rpm in park

no its just an auto. but the auto transmission in this car is really good

Tiptronic is Porsche's name for it. Ford calls it a Sequential Sports Shift. And yes it is. When I drive it I always use that, I don't like automatics myself.

Its official price including on road costs is about $63,000. We got it brand new from the factory for $47,500 + $1,800 for the XR8 wheels. They were pretty desperate to sell the 2008 stock.

have never seen them around and i never understood why, especially when i lived in North America. I figured they would be so popular between the falcon and Holden's line up too. (altho i suppose GM turned one into the Pontiac GTO)I'm more a Ford fan tho myself :P Great cars tho, and i love the XR8's too. It's hard to beat a nice V8 sound :)gotta run mate, thanks again!

I work for a major car rental brand with a fleet of these here in Oz......we usually get comments from American tourists like "wow! Fantastic, these woudl sell well in the US"...."whey the hell doesn't Ford America sell these..I would drive it"..."you guys are lucky we have the front wheel drive Taurus...you have a rear wheeled straight 6, it's not fair". It makes them even more jealous when you tell them about FPV!! haha.
