the knicks had a good young core with frye, ariza, robinson, david lee,and balkman, that could of been a starting lineup in the future, but they broke it up
Its a weired song choice IMO because his feet did fail him for the latter part of the season. Trevor's gonna play a big role this series with his D. It be nice to see him get a big Dunk on one of the Big three also..............
i cant wait for bynum and ariza to come back either, and pao too.....but do you guys think theyll play well with each other, i mean they missed so many games and im thinking they wont be used to playing with each other...especially near playoffs, iono
i know but everyone keeps forgetting that he's over 7 ft tall doesn't hurt to have him clean up some of the boards coz kobe shoots a lot and he can give everyone second chances thats all I'm saying I know he sux on offensive but I'm talking about crashing the boards...
wow, i really didn't think he had that much hops, i mean i watched him at UCLA and he really wasn't the game dunker that he has become, i cant wait till he gets back.
lakers need him back on the floor... with him to back up a healthy starting line-up of Kobe SG, Fisher PG, Odom SF, Gasol PF, and Bynum C.... dangggggg
he in da league and u not. i wish u could hoop better then u can H8 on niggaz. Trevor a cool nigga. i fuk wit cuz when im cali. shot out 2 all ma cali niggaz and if u dont kno what u got cap mean u aint squad. ya dig

dude is nice, he dunked on everybody when he was in Orlando and he's already got a couple posters in LA. i think my favorite was when he teabagged Kanye West.
i swear the new york franchise is getting dumber by the day, they've traded away so much good young talent like Ariza and Channing Frye, should just be a matter of time before they screw up again and let David lee go
shocka.... im wid u on dis 1... iagree he has sick ass talent. and iwnder y he is getttin traded. as long as he brings da game here wid us n LA. nd he'll get mins. dnt wrry. he had a amazing game 2day on christmas agianst suns....hes recognized...
UCLA. Yeah dude, I can totally relate. Had no idea who he was, then all of a sudden Ariza was traded to the Lakers for Mo Evans AND Brian Cook. Started looking at his handy work on YouTube and was instantly stoked that Lakers got him. I think he'll be extra modivated in L.A. since that's his home and he'll want to stay there.
had the same feelings here. Didnt know jack about him before accept that he was from ucla. Figured that was a plus but I didnt understand the trade until I started watching some vids. Now I'm getting VERY excited about all of our young talent.
100% agree. Watch the Smush Parker dunks here on youtube, where a Laker would pass off to Smush and he'd speed run it to the rim and dunk on someone. Although, he also had a high failure rate on these. I think if the Lakers run that same play for Ariza, he'd succeed at it so much better.
@least the lakers have a little bit more athleticism on their team. Its just he hasnt got in the flow for the lakers offense yet. The triangle is kinda hard right off the bat but give him some time and hes going to be a big contribution.
Are you retarded. The Laker bench is the 2nd best scoring bench behind the Spurs right now. I'm glad that Sasha is playing more now that Maurice Evans is gone. Yea, I didn't really like the trade but it's not always about the talent. It's about how it will affect your team. And tell you what it did a shitload for the Lakers.
lmao trevor ariza is an aight player, i mean ok he'll dunk on u big whoop like another 180 players will flush on u if giving the chance and he plays a lil d, if hes that tight orlando wouldnt have gave him up 4 cook and evans, my lakers shoulda kept evans
O.K. I'm pumped. Let's go!!! Trevor I hope you are thinking, eating and living triangles cause the sooner you understand it the sooner your playing time will go up and we can see you do some of this siiiick stuff...
racinghart8, you're fucking retarded!! Brian Cook is the worst player in the league, I hate him so much. I'm sad to see Mo Evans leave but he was kind of a fuck up in crucial times. Ariza is a fucking BALLER he's only 22 and he's gonna be really good. ur stupid, die
obviously you watch the lakers, but are you blind to the lack of skills cook has. chemistry is something that can be worked on by playing and practicing with each other. chemistry will come in time. cook was on the lakers for years and he's proven over and over he doesn't have it.
didnt yall folks really research dude?!? stop sayin welcome to LA, dude is from here!!! trust he wont do much right now but hes our future 3, he'll play a Michael Cooper type of roll damn our future is lookin marvelous!!! farmar, javaris, ariza, gasol and bynum is a killa startin 5!!!
Welcome to the purple and gold were its all about winning. I like his speed. If he bulks up more he will be a beast but he has confidence and i like that.
holy shit, he seems like rodman without coming down for a rebound, he just freakin dunks it back! If he's half as good as rodman in terms of defense and rebounding/second chance plays, consider me a follower of this guy.
LOL i was wondering how many laker fans would do a search on this guy..and im one of them..this guy looks pretty good..ill admit, never heard of him but its always an addition by subracting cook
Mitch Kupchak thought it was "Gilbert Arenas" he was getting. I tried telling his stupid azz his name is "ARIZA" not "ARENAS" He got Wizards mixed up with Magic!!! Dumb ass Mitch Kupchak!!! ARIZA YOU BETTER BRING IT!!! WELCOME TO LA!!!!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
don't get too comfortable with having him on the lakers folks. the only reason they got him was to open cap space. this is the last year in ariza's contract, so i doubt the lakers plan on keeping him for the long term.
been following you since your Westchester days. I still remember your dunk on Jensen while you were at UCLA. i was wondering how far ucla woulda gone if you stayed for even just a couple more years. now lets see how far you take the lakers. welcome back.
I hope he is completely amazing. Seems like he would bring a lot of energy and be more physical than cook and evans. Only thing that will suck is the loss of cook's 3 point shooting.
No, we don't want to ruin our chemistry with Ricky Davis! Davis is a very good individual player, but he's stat guy.. Maggete or Artest would've been nice but I think Ariza will be a good fit as well. I don't know how good his outside shot is but his mid-range game is descent. W/B when ever it's conveniant fellow Laker fan. I think that we have a pretty good team though..
Just like with Smush, it's addition by subtraction. Ariza has some athletic ability. Evans is a TROOPER, he will be missed... but if Ariza just shows up and tries hard, then okay by me.
Getting rid of Cookie is huge. Making room for Critter, even better.
well at first when I read the article that this guy got traded to the Lakers for brian cook and maurice evans i was like wtf, are they retarded? I ain't never even heard of this guy before and Mo and Cook are fucking great additions to the Lakers, but idk, He seems decent. Idk, I still don't think this guy will compensate for cook and evans. I think it was a stupid trade overall by the lakers. I hope he proves me wrong though. I thought Lakers was doing just fine -_-
did you see the last dunk?damn the guy really pushed him hard.I hope a foul's been called!if he had not dunk before da hands of the guy touched him we wouldn't even talk about him anymore
you are looking at the next starting sg for the orlando magic in ariza and its funny he is #1 since his predeccessors in that number were penny and t-mac.
ariza is working on his jump shot this offseason at ucla and he looks good. hes the x-factor because not only is he our best man on defense, hes the only guy on the squad with some real athletism, inside and outside. no knock on rashard but he doesnt have the speed and ability to create his own shots and take someone one on one with the ball like an elite player such as kobe. most of the time lewis is pass catch and shoot, whereas ariza has that ability.
keyon dooling was right when he said on espn that the magic will have a big year this upcoming season. not only do rashard and dwight compliment each other very well, it will also allow some spacing and open up the entire offense for nelson jj and ariza.
great athlete, just a bad basketball player. he reminds me of kobe's rookie year. average like 7 or 8 points on all highlight reel stuff. but then...it is still 7 or 8 points. still, he did bang on ben wallace sumthin vicious.
he's got talent!

I hope he is completely amazing. Seems like he would bring a lot of energy and be more physical than cook and evans. Only thing that will suck is the loss of cook's 3 point shooting.

i dont like the trade we could of gotten Maggete or Artest or even Ricky Davis 4 evans and cook
Could Ariza shoot this video is all dunks

Making room for Critter, even better.

yea, but evans makes a lot of terrible decisions

well at first when I read the article that this guy got traded to the Lakers for brian cook and maurice evans i was like wtf, are they retarded? I ain't never even heard of this guy before and Mo and Cook are fucking great additions to the Lakers, but idk, He seems decent. Idk, I still don't think this guy will compensate for cook and evans. I think it was a stupid trade overall by the lakers. I hope he proves me wrong though. I thought Lakers was doing just fine -_-

you are looking at the next starting sg for the orlando magic in ariza and its funny he is #1 since his predeccessors in that number were penny and t-mac.

ariza is working on his jump shot this offseason at ucla and he looks good. hes the x-factor because not only is he our best man on defense, hes the only guy on the squad with some real athletism, inside and outside. no knock on rashard but he doesnt have the speed and ability to create his own shots and take someone one on one with the ball like an elite player such as kobe. most of the time lewis is pass catch and shoot, whereas ariza has that ability.

keyon dooling was right when he said on espn that the magic will have a big year this upcoming season. not only do rashard and dwight compliment each other very well, it will also allow some spacing and open up the entire offense for nelson jj and ariza.

great athlete, just a bad basketball player. he reminds me of kobe's rookie year. average like 7 or 8 points on all highlight reel stuff. but then...it is still 7 or 8 points. still, he did bang on ben wallace sumthin vicious.
p.s. and yes, i am a kobe fan.
