  • I mean ( don't treat their maids in a good way )

  • We have in Kuwait domestic workers abuse, it's really so easy to cut it out, some country's like the Philippine should have some dignity and stop sending us people to slave. It's that simple.

  • i'm in kuwait and everybody i know treat their housemaids better than this housemaid in her home, they get stuff they used to dream about them b4 they come here , this is sad cuz it reflect us in a bad way,

  • If the target of this campaign are 'Kuwaitis' then why is it in English?

  • @alm0nd Because most Kuwaitis speak English. And the campaign is not for Kuwaitis only! There are non-Kuwaiti people here whom don't treat their maids in a bad way.

English is a global understood language.

  • @ChristinaKuwait If most Kuwaitis speak English then all of them speak Arabic, it's a matter of understanding the target audience, that's Advertising 101.

'English is a global understood language', and that leads to the fact that this ad is directed 'globally'. Meaning it was made to show the 'world' that there is a human rights problem in Kuwait. That's not wrong in my opinion, it's just presented in the wrong way. This is not an attempt toward a solution, it's more like finger pointing.

  • @alm0nd Great point of view. I have to admit, I agree with what you just said.

  • @alm0nd

Because many house workers in Kuwait speak English and don't speak Arabic.

  • @KrayzeBlayzer But the domestic workers themselves are not who this ad is talking to, are they? It talks to the housewives who should put themselves in the worker's place. Thus, it the ad should be in the housewives language.

  • @alm0nd

Maybe they want the maids to know that people are actually doing something?

    I'm just guessing here.

  • LOL she looks well pampered.

  • Shoe fetishists :-)

  • I want a worker like that.

  • Boy, I'm sure glad we defended Kuwait in the first Gulf War. A real beacon of democracy and human rights, they are. Thanks, George H.W. Bush, for slavery.

  • @SubmarinerAndroid When the topic is about rape, Americans should shut their mouths because the highest rate of forcible rapes is in the US.

  • @abdullahkwt No, that's the highest rate of REPORTED forcible rape. Women don't report rapes in cultures where they are blamed for what happened to them. When the topic is rape or women in general, muslim men should shut their mouths.

  • @SubmarinerAndroid How did you know the rate is high if it was unreported !! That's a sign that the discussion became an argument. As you wish, Kuwait is the worst country on the planet. are you satisfied now ?! But I'm still wandering how did know about the rate if it was unreported !

  • @abdullahkwt Because while it remains unreported to police or officials (due to the aforementioned blaming of rape in islamic cultures on the woman) it IS reported to international journalists, UN aid workers and the Red Cross.

  • @Hedgeworth Ok, would you provide me the references or the sources please ? unless if you're James Bond this is another issue !

  • @SubmarinerAndroid Second gulf war idiot

  • why is she doing house work in high heels? is she mad?

  • @princessannikki She is forced to work in heels by her Kuwaiti slave owners. The man of the house probably likes to see them when he rapes her.

  • Her shoes are so prettyyyyy
