When children realise that their parents are supplying their Christmas presents and not Father Christmas. The children have to deconstruct their belief system in order to reconstruct a more real one. Likewise, I imagine consciousness needs to create entropy in order create newer more pure low entropy states. In my opinion vacillating between high and low entropy states may be process of growing.
Well said antnantn....I think their brains are just to preoccupied with the generic 'oh is this guy being truthful or making this up' sadly this blocks them from asking the more interesting questions which you asked. I have some experience with the nonphysical planes. And will attempt to answer your questions. Yes there is sex and cars, but this is largely due to the fact that when You go there, You may desire or expect these things and thus experience them
I cant believe what lame questions these people asking... nobody is asking him to describe these other worlds...do they have different races...do they have sex...do they have cars...is "heaven" yet another world with fewer constraints, has he been to "heaven"??? So many other more interesting questions they could ask.... A guy says he has visited other realities and nobody questions him about it....what lame questions these supposed smart people have
I just read a new book, God vs Satan Untold Story, by a new thinker on this topic. Who seems to have all these ideas, and more. He ties them into not only explaining God and Satan, but into politics, racial behavior, and modern political economical problems. If you like Campbell, you'll love the new guy.

I love the way fear is explained. Which is interesting , as its the tool the Republicans use all the time to control the American people. Send them to war, but not provide health care.
Fear is also the emotion luring you into the financial black hole that is universal health care and the democrats are doing nothing if not expanding the foreign wars and attack on your civil liberties that the bush regime started. I would have liked him to explain these concepts with more emphasis on physics, this all is very wondrous but not what I would call testable or scientific.

In complete agreement with the interesting part of you post though.
Also I like the no fear part.Yes madness beckons,but look around, insanity prevails.
