I have a question about ur titanium gold.. I just got mine in the mail.. the bars are different colors(different shades of gold) and the cover doesnt slide all the way down to the base like my chrome one. And it doesnt spin as fast! :( is this normal?

first off, is it an xpole? and second where did you buy it from?

I got it from the same guy I bought my chrome pole from. hes a licensced seller or whatever.. I called to 800 number to find out. My chrome pole was in excellent condition. all the same. spins great. origional packaging. the gold pole was in origion xpole packaging and everything. came with everything the chrome 1 came with. the xpole bags, directions, tools. But gold pole was dusty. and the larger pole was a lighter tone of gold than the rest.

oh ya and the base has the x's on it like an authentic xpole. just like my chrome pole. its more grippy than my chrome pole which i LOVE.. but it doesnt spin as fast. its dusty. the adjuster rob didnt have lube on it.. it had black stuff on it like its old. My chrome had gel lube on it.

I only asked where you got it from because there are fake xpoles being sold, i can only say that you can get in touch with the guy you got it from and explain your conserns, or talk to xpole direct. they should replace it for you

i know alot do it by a shoulder mount how high up on the pole, so their butt is closer to the cieling~ i cant do it myself but yea ur right i have seen alot do it ur way as well

Definitely supposed to brace yourself with the ceiling... the point is to look like you're lying on the ceiling. this move is nearly impossible without that brace... i think I've only ever seen Pantera do it from halfway up the pole... a no handed superman essentially... must have abs, butt and thighs of steel. you look great Tara, keep doing it the way you are!

This is a favorite of mine :) I usually get into it from a catepillar climb and try to get my bottom as close to the ceiling as possible. You will get more comfortable with it in time. Good job!!

i've only done this move a handful of times and it is really dangerous without a spotter, some people climb up the pole and go into the move through a shouldermount, i do it through an invert. you have to know that you are capable of the move! watch your legs because your normal reaction is to grip the pole with them - when there actually gonna be crossed on the ceiling, it's VERY easy to slip from this move, if your not high enough it will fail. make sure you have a spotter and padding!!! :)
