it changes the pickup selection i.e if i wanted a bassier tone i would put it up on to the rhythem pikup and if i wanted a sharpe tone u would put it on the treble and then change the tone knob to ur liking, it can be used for a killswitch by turnin the treble pikups volume on 0 and rhythem on 10 then just toggle it and yeh=Dhpe it help the otha guys hav prety much summed it up=]

Playing is fine but that bridge pickup is hideous.

Also, some constructive critique: you're vibrato technique is kind of lame. When you're bored and have some time, practice anchoring a note and rocking your WRIST back and forth, you'll get a much smoother sound and not make you pitch out the notes so much.

To be more specific, use your index finger at the 12th fret on the G string. I remember that was the easiest place to start messing with that technique. You just use that finger as a pivot and rock your wrist and biggity bam.

It could really put your playing over the top because you seem pretty much solid otherwise.
