This really shows how much Noah has matured and grown since he arrived in Oakdale. Remember a couple years ago he was unable to call Luke his boyfriend in public? You know, the argument at Al's isn't the type that would make it into most people's "favorite Luke/Noah scenes" list, but it's in mine (that list sure is long, though). The acting and writing in this scene is just stellar; both POV's really came through. Kudos to Van and Jake and, for once, the writers.

Noah really broke my heart when he said, "Well, I *am* proud of us!". And of course, when he saw Luke at the end and realized his speech was no use.
