  • Perfect video! Can you do a sight fishing video? I need to know where to spot largemouth. Thanks! Keep up the great videos!

  • Hatcambass ur the best bass fisherman ive seen so far ur rly good at bass fishing man keep up the good vids.

  • hey what state is this in? or city. the satellite pictures look so familiar.

  • @goatkiller68 Tx. Dallas area.

  • how do you decide which plastic to use when? i've got to the point where i keep going out buying a pack of this, or a pack of that, and catching nothing. I've got 8-10 different plastics, i don't know which to use when.

  • @dnullify100 I have a pretty simplistic approach to bait selection. I like to keep my arsenal filled with just a few baits that I have a lot of confidence in. I keep the colors basic too. Hope that helps.

  • That was a really good bluegill!

  • Great vid man.

  • what kind of rod are you usin

  • @bassfisher357 I often use the Extreme series rods from Bass Pro. Great rod for the price!

  • hahah cool trying to look like the pro's haha

  • are you spot fihsing them, cause i usually use bluegill to spot fish.

  • What type of senko worm was that??

  • @KidSwagg852 I mostly use YUM Dingers. 5 inch.

  • Where is this. i havnt seen all of ur vids so i dont know.

  • @lazycat5000 In north Texas.

  • That happened to me the other day i caught a bluegill on a crankbait

  • Came across your channel. Loved it and subed. I know this pond and fished there too. But I just started bass fishing this year, so I'm still learning the lures and techniques. Too much fun. Learned a lot from your channel.

  • @glassvision Cool. You should send me a PM, tell me where you're located, and we'll go fish together sometime!

  • like the banjer music man

  • Can Someone give me a video responce of a tourital to how to use fakebaits er something wahtever its called been fishing with live bait for to long

  • made it look easy!

  • Have you used the lake fork tackle hyper freak?

  • @pepul19 No, but it's a pretty popular bait around here. You hear nothing but good things about it.

  • How do you know when a bass hits when you're fishing weightless and they're hitting really lightly? And whats the best way to test it so you dont spook a fish away that has the lure in its mouth?

  • @vweeks181 Watch the line closely. It might move to the side, or go slack, or go tight. Eventually you'll develop a "sixth sense" for when something doesn't feel right (i.e. the fish has taken the bait).

  • Comment removed

  • @HatCamBass appreciate the help! When the creek I fish is murky or I'm casting far ahead of me I either feel them swat it, or the line moves to the side, I just didn't know if it was that much different than bass.

  • @HatCamBass words right out of my mouth

  • Do you like bama bug color for a finesse worm?

  • @pepul19 Never used that color.

  • Have you used the zoom dead ringer?

  • @pepul19 No, never tried that one.

  • What color do you prefer for a lizard: watermelon red o junebug?

  • @pepul19 hard to go wrong with watermelon anything ; )

  • @pepul19 Those are great baits to pitch.

  • @HatCamBass I fish a pond in Mass and it has a tree like the one in this vid. i fish the same tree every year and always get a 5-6lb bass i think its the same bass. wacky rigged stick baits are great. good vid

  • Do you pitch sweet beavers?

  • Is that a shimano Curado reel? i use a Quatum COde with a vendetta rod

  • @4lifekx Yeah, it's the curado.

  • @HatCamBass sweet man i love how smooth a curado is

  • @HatCamBass sweet man i love how smooth a curado is. And you catch some pretty nice fish man. Keep them videos coming

  • love your videos!

  • @jfish31 Thx for watching!

  • This is one of the best video introducing the weightless fishing on youtube.

Very informative and clear. Nice job!

I get couple questions here. Do you use swivel in between the test line and the leader to avoid the line twist? How do you know the fish bite when there's lots of slack?

  • @ruinedbackyard I don't use a leader for this application. On slack line, I'm usually watching for that line to start moving. In cold weather, when the bite is very subtle, I'll try to keep that line tight so I can feel the bite. Hope that helps. Thx for watching!

  • One of Ur better videos i believe

  • @fishingdaybyday Thx for watching!

  • do u prefer brushogs or baby brush hogs

  • @MrBassturbater I have more confidence when using Baby Brush Hogs.

  • HAHA FEELS LIKE A BILL DANCE SHOW IN A FIRST PERSON>>>> LOL

  • @xXcam0manXx LOL, thanks.

  • Do you have any tips on flipping weightless plastics? I cant get the settings right on my bait caster(low-profile)

  • @UARAF16 what kind of reel are you using?

  • @HatCamBass Just started using baitcast so im using a $30 shakespeare agility (got for christmas). I can cast a 3/8 ounce spinnerbait 50+ feet and cast 100+ times with out any backlash. I know how to dial in each lure but i cant get it right for plastics like trick worms even with a 1/8 ounce weight

  • @UARAF16 well first off, don't expect to cast a worm with a 1/8 oz weight the same distance as a heavier bait. You could try using lighter line...might help with the reel you are using. Other than that, just keep playing with your drag and braking system (if it has one). Set it so the worm gently falls to the ground when you disengage the reel.

  • 5:20 i love when that sort of thing happens

  • Great video and nice illistration of the place you were fishing nice touch! Great catches and video.

  • NICE.. Check out my really BIG BASS, just click on my account or put BIG largemouth bass (MIKEY)

  • and that sunfish was a BA for hitting that stickbait

  • awesome video...

  • man i wish bass were that easy to catch here....

  • nice fishing man, love the illustration, that info could really help some people

  • nice job you make it look easy hahaha

  • hahaha thanks for the shout-out at the end. I really like how you used the Google Earth picture for that description

  • @CoosaSpots np. Thanks for subscribing.

  • Great vid!

  • just curious, whats your personal best?

  • @BassMasters1416 I caught my personal best a few years back. Didn't have a scale to weigh it, but it was probably in the low 6 lb range.

  • Man i love how you set this video up. I really like it. Nice fish and keeep up with this format

  • @j0j0barz33 thx!

  • get tons of those rockbass at some of our local lakes lol

  • It's fun catching them right at the bank like that.

  • that fish at the end i think was an warm mouth or googly eye

  • @martinr0120 I asked around about that, and most were telling me it is probably a warmouth + green sunfish hybrid.

  • @HatCamBass it looks like a pumpkinseed to me at first glance. but i'm no expert.
