yes i believe that hank did use a burns aguitar,infact his first solo album,contains tracks with the majority being played on a burns.

really enjoyed this - you totally nailed it. It sounds so much better with the verses on acoustic and then, great strat sound for the solos! Exactly the way Hank did it on his later tours (using the stand, as some of the other guys have said).

Wow! very impressive playing! I remember well the song making No 1 in Adelaide Australia (where I grew up) and have been searching for the music for years, any chance you could post the tabs as I recon they are spot on to the original and I would just love to learn it and share with my 12 year old son,
