good overall basic moves down, but should work on controlling speed a bit (its not a race to see whose fastest & in fact can cause audience to miss some impressive moves), Work on some technique a bit more, & posture, cuz I often saw the same slumped over standing position, which can drastically affect your spinning when it comes to more advanced moves. Not bad though. Thanks for sharing. =)

@manjii2go usually on the start up the item you use will throw off excess fuel, you can soak the ground and then light it or soak it in advanced and light it before/during performing

I try not to judge any spinner, and by that i mean no one is 'the best' at any skill toy art, nor the worst. That said, these kids are good performers, but in a class of beginner in the overall scope of the global fire community.

Speed means nothing in regards to skill level. Rhythm, timing and flow go much further in any talent than speed does. You could be the greatest and fastest salsa dancer in the world, but if you have no rhythm or timing and you're completely off beat it's gonna look like shit, and no one would ever know you could actually salsa, rather it'd look more like you were spazzing out than dancing.

Definitely beginner, when compared against the astounding staff spinning talents in the world

Also.. the guy does all of 4 moves in 'basic staff' form, over and over very quickly. There's an infinite amount of patterns, combinations, and manipulations you can do with a staff. Once you break outside of basic single staff you begin to enter intermediate levels of manipulation. Take this brilliant staff spinner for example, Meast, this video still astounds me today and i'm still trying to catch up with him on 50% of this stuff.

The staffs are home made, the wick is sometimes just cloth. lets just say they are not up to code. i almost lost my finger to third degree burns from spinning those staffs. completely my fault but regardless, those are some mean staffs. its not sped up, those boys practice every day and perform every night, its a big part of their income. i miss that island.
