On the other hand they were before that signed on a indie label named Exctasy and released their debut album in '88. That was their breakthrough album and sold 800 000 copies which led them to a major label immediately to record Blue Blood.

Actually, this song uses a riff a bit similar to the one used by a japanese thrash band called Rosenfeld from those days. Mind you, still credit to X for this song, it might be just a coincidence. Thrash/speed metal can't help but to repeat certain riffs here and there.
