Travers is using a 1983 Gibson Les Paul Standard double cutaway model. The Gibson company made only two of those particular guitars--one for Travers and one for Joe Walsh. It was Travers main instrument for 20 years, then he put it aside and started using Paul Reed Smith guitars. He sold it on Ebay in 2006 for $10,000.
