I get some kind of visceral pleasure out of hating this song . I hate the tum -te-tum rhythm of it, I hate the pointless story but most of all I hate the bass line; my friends and I do air bass when it's on. I can't get enough of it! Thanks for posting....
It must be hard to sing the same song over and over and still have it sound timeless. he's probably sang this song thousands of times in his career yet it still sounds amazing every time I hear it. awesome!
This is one of my favorite songs ever - love Boz Scaggs and love the song. He's doing amazing standards now, too.
