i saw megadeth with my dad (im 13) 2007 on the tour of duty in seattle. it was my second concert. i went to metallica recently and that megadeth concert totally was better. i was in the front row and dave mustaine shook my hand and handed me his guitar pick he just used to play hanger 18. best concert experince ever!

Shawn Drover (Drummer) is HIGHLY underrated, I never see any conversation about him and he is never brought up.

Listen to his interpretations of old songs on That One Night, and his material on United Abominations.

God im so glad Glen Drover is gone, i knew he wouldnt stay long...just a gut feeling. He had ZERO stage presence, or metal presence for that matter. He looked so arrogant on stage, and he had this conceited look on his face like, this is SO EASY TO PLAY!! He bring the whole experiance of seeing megadeth down. I hope Chris Roderick is better (with the way he hold his guitar close to his chest like a dork)

Glen Drover is a metal God.... his arrogance is rockin!!!! ... also he's by far one of my fav guitarists of all time, i downloaded the entire discography of Eidolon (Glen and Shaun Drovers old band) and Glen is an absolute riff machine! he's unbelievable!

I agree with you about Drover. I'm really happy with his departure. He was the worse lead player Megadeth ever had. Most of his solos were boring and sounded like mindless shredding. We'll now see what Broderick can do, but I doubt he can hold a candle to Marty or even Al.

Drover is the best guitarist megadeth has had, hes style looks better than friedman and he HAS a greater stage presence. Broderci kis great What he has done for nevermore is great, but im yet to see him in megadeth so i cant judge.

Pretty much every Megadeth fan will disagree with you on that one. And for the record, Glen had an abysmal stage presence. Every time he came to play a solo that he hadn't written(ToS, Holy Wars), you could see he was nervous as fuck and if it was his solo he was a pompous cunt about it "Look what I wrote, bet you can't play this". He butchered most of Poland and Marty's solo's as well.

He really didn't suit Megadeth.

Drover bored the hell out of me. Friedman chose some nice exotic scales for his solos, had amazing phrasing and always kept them interesting. Drover is a bit of a mindless shredder in my eyes. The guy wouldn't know a melody if it smacked him in the face. Look at how he ruined Friedman's solo to A Tout Le Mond on United Abominations. Al Pitrelli was a better replacement than Drover.
