I don't know about a tenth of your weed but the amount of bud lost is certainly significant and with all the movement in the chamber you probably lose a good amount of crystals; making the weed less potent and meaning if you want to use the keef and trim you're going to have to deal with it mixed and in a large and, from what i saw, unwieldy container

I honestly think the Spin Pro (Handytrimmer video) is faster, and easier to use. It's pretty obvious only commercial growers would need something like this. If you're a patient or a caregiver for 1-3 people, check out the Spin Pro video...it's far more affordable and does as good a job as one of these puppies. :)

The amount and type of light the plants get is hugely important, along with watering and air quality.

Still trying to learn a lot myself. I don't know about any particular chemicals or nutrients to use yet. main thing I'm worries about is lights. From my understand you start the plants out on basically a regular flourescent lights then move them on High pressure sodium bulbs.  to grow the plant, 18 hours of light./6 dark. then to start flowering you switch to 12/12 light cycle.

Grow/Veg on a 24 hr light schedule and get a Metal Halide. You can but I wouldn't reccommend vegging with an HPS. A Garden is most efficient during Veg with lamps on 24hrs a day.

um, if you cut too much off it is bad, but try using scissors and just rounding the edges on every leaf and pull a few of the small outside ones
