  • Good line by Fargo at the end.

  • Bill Cosby looks like he could be Q-Tip's dad.

  • You should never leave your motor running

  • @musicbox193 Back then you could get away with it though.

  • @MsTexas73 still wasn't a good idea

  • why does he have a big mustache just at the beginning?

  • @musicbox193 or as I have realized, he puts it on when he's talking on the phone. I wonder why

  • Isn't it "optospectometer"?

  • @1SunWheel Not sure of the exact word. I'll have to find a clip on my DVD set and see if there are captions that write the word out to see how exactly it is spelled.

  • The "octospectometer" is was made up for TV back in the 70s, but now we have a scanner, OCR software, and a word processor. We can scan the typed note into a computer, retrieve the text, and edit it on the screen.

  • @jeopardy60611 I wonder if this clip is a 'foreshadowing' of the technology to come a couple of decades later, like the three examples you mention.

  • @d72jjpilc There are a lot of shows that "invent" things that seem impossible to do at the time. Maxwell Smart came out in the 60s with a "shoe phone," and now everyone carries a cell phone, even though we don't have them hidden in our shoes. The Jetsons, as well as many other shows, depict "video phones," and there have been such devices like that over the years that didn't seem to catch on, but webcams are now the common thing.
