@allmetaliswelcome Hey there. Thanks. Its the Zildjian 14" oriental china. Im not a fan of huge china's. the overpower everything else!! the small ones like this are great for accents and stuff.
You win the award for most random request :) I will try and get some time to do this for you, if you are serious. Are you? why do you want to see in the inside?cant you just go to a store?
Ok then no problem. I can tell you they are amazing and the best on the market by far. They are not the cheapest cases, but they are the best investment I made. My drum STILL look brand new because they have been kept safe on all the touring. I have even dropped a some out of the van, the drums were fine. The guys at Hardcase look after me to. Like, I had some older straps that needed replacing, they were replaced with new ones for free.
hey i want to get that gospel/rnb style sound from my snare...can you give me any tips on how to tune the heads. I've got a pearl export maple snare (14") with a remo coated emperor ontop and a clear emperor on the bottom with puresound snare wires. I want to crank up the top head but am unsure where the bottom head should be compared to the top head. also should i add muffling o the snare and if so what and where?
Hi there, You like that sound? Well, this is a really rough mix from the studio but I did really tighten up the top head. I do tune a lot of kits and snare drums too. If you want that sound there is a lot to it, such as the type of snare to begin with followed by a good drum head. Send me an email with what snare you have if you want some advise tuning it.
Hi Mark!Excellent drumming,but i have one questuin.How can I record A drum clip like that,with great sound like yours,what equipment do I need to have(except camera,drums and microphones,of course)?
Hey thanks for your comment :) I have a Macbook so I use the wonderful program ' iMovie'. I recorded my drums onto the laptop, so for that you need a pc or mac, and an audio interface to connect the mics to the laptop. then just record like any other recording, then i take the footage from the camera, mute the camera sound on imovie, and then click and drag the audio recording of the drums on top of the video, then i just sync it up till it looks and sounds together. imovie is simple, i love it!
hey mark! what's that awesome china you got there? i like it!

how to make your snare sound incredibly crisp and poppy? was it the quality or just amazing tuning?

@pearldrummerbrx i bought a really cheap and crappy snare, but with some new remo heads, and some brand new snares, it sounds just like yours

@MrKilltastic You're right, you can tune some rubbish snare's to sound nice, most of my students have beginner kits and they all sound great.

Hey Thanks, this is one of my favourite snares that i have, this is the Pearl 'Omar Hakim' Signature, 13x5 Mahogany Shell. So amazing for funk!

Break down even more!!! Sure why not haha.
Play straight 32nd notes,
you start with groups of six which will obviously cross over the click if there was one.
RLRLFF, RLRLFF, RLRLFF, RLRLFF, RLFF, RLRL.
The arm cross over must be Right hand over Left hand.
:)
