I had one of these, exactly the same back in 1961. I bought it at age 16 too young in Victoria Australia where you had to be 18 to ride. The local Cop knew me and would look away when he saw me ride. I think he knew I was a sensible enough kid. This machine sounds EXACTLY like mine did, eerie actually from such a long time ago.
very impressive, however its actually a Matchless G80 ----- no S, the S stands for suspension and as you can see, theres no rear suspension. I'm currently restoring the AJS version, a model 18
