I have also never eaten horseradish, but when I would babysit my little cousins (they were 2 and 1 at the time) the only way to get them to eat anything was to put horseradish in/on it. We're talking pancakes, watermelon, grilled cheese, apple sauce. EVERYTHING.

My grandparents actually go and get horseraddish from a garden. I guess you would call it "harvest". We eat it all the time on crackers with cheese and salami. It's the best thing ever! (Although, with our's there is no mayonnaise, thank goodness.)
