have they ever raised the ceilings in SC yet? it always annoyed me that the max ceiling was lower than some of the tallest buildings =[

they should make the max ceiling as high as the tallest building plus the max height of a maxed out SJ, that way no one would ever know the ceiling limits unless they were a flyer and really tried for it, and at least you could get on top of all the buildings

I think that superjump is by far the most fun travel power in CoH, however I do agree with 6661313 about the autorun factor of flight.

Can't really speak for the other two travel powers, but I'm sure they have their advantages too.

i've always liked flight more for simply being able to "autorun" and be able to type cant type and keep moving forward with jump lol (it can be done with super speed but you need a long straight path to do it and need to be lined up properly)

You can get a temporary power form of most of the travel powers (generally last 2 hours of use), but the normal versions have no recharge, no limitations of use (they do use a tiny amount of endurance, so keeping them on in a fight might not be the best idea), and they can be enhanced to be much faster than the temporary version.

It's more fun than World of Warcraft and offers impressive customization options for character appearance and powers. You'll almost never see someone that looks like you or has the exact same powers. The combat is also rather fun.

Yea, I just downloaded the free trial of this game and I see what you mean. I think my Mutation Brute will have super speed and super jump rather than fly. Seems a bit uncharacteristic.

Super Jump alone is actually faster than Flight (also, Flight takes the same investment as SJ, it's not like Fly is free... quiet down Kheldians!).

The order in raw speed is Flight -> Super Jump -> Super Speed -> Teleportation, but in practice Super Jump is usually ahead of Super Speed, sometimes even Teleportation.

There's also the aesthetic choice, jumping is a different style than flying.

No it doesn't. I play both, and neither suck. WoW has more realistic moving, while you run at 21 mph on CoH even if your character is supposed to be a normal human being with weapons. The abilities are more in-depth on WoW, the customability in CoX completely pwns. They are both awesome, in their own ways.

ok this is all im going to say. namzuG23 ic what u mean but im sorry to say that, that is just super jump. if you look down towards his legs u can see rings and they are of yellowish color. thats from super jump. fly is close but the effect is slightly different. for fly if comes off with a liney style wave and its like a baby-blue/white color.

It's how superjump works, If you've used it, you'd know, You jump in the direction you look and the longer you hold space the longer it jumps, A few fun facts to prove my point.

Flight animation doesn't look like that ( Except the one at 28 seconds, Jumping straight up gives that animation with super jump )

Flight gives a different glow.

He controls himself in mid air ( strafing if you will, Flight doesn't work like that, it turns like a plane )

I kinda disagree there... as long as you get and slot stamina, teleport is the best, doesn't take too many enhancements before you gain as much endurance as you loose every time you teleport. Teleporting just takes a little getting used to thats all...

If you're starting point is higher up then your finishing point, then yes. Although you can never directly die from falling in City of Heroes/Villains, you'll always have 1hp left. Just pray there aren't any aggressive mobs around :)

Super Jump is the best of all travel powers. The only one CLOSE is Flying, just because all people want to fly. Teleporting is okay, but it costs too much and has low range not-upgraded. Superspeed sucks imo.

With Super Jump, you can easily go 250feet in 2 jumps. At level 16 and only 3 slots with double origin jump upgrade.
