I hope MegaUpload has copies of their clients somewhere, so they can pull up half the people that work in the gov who've downloaded from their site. It would be even more lovely to find employees within the SOPA group who are just as "guilty."

The Evidence that is listed with this shows the ones that made the software to do the downloading were the same ones that marketed it and now the same ones that want to sue for copyright infringement.

That's what these videos have been pointing out.

It was all started by Cnet which is a part of CBS.

Plus the Supreme Court had said those that made the software to do the downloading are liable for the copyright infringement.

this guy, mike is just amazing. He had to do some solid research before making this video and though I have not checked it myself, i would bet almost anything that it is all legitimate. The substance of it just makes perfect sense.

@MrGoodNKinky well, I do not find it necessary, as I did not hear anything that even sounded even a bit suspect. Alas, but I do hope this whole story does not affect me as I did not DL anything from MegaUpload subject to US copyright, or very much at all and none of it was recent. But it does worry me if they can dig years back.

Honestly I wouldn't stress to much over what might or might not happen.

It will do no good either way to worry about it now.

If anything I would have copies of all of the evidence that this was caused by CBS and those like them. After all the Supreme Court had said the ones that made the software in the first place are liable for copyright violation.

Have all of the documentation you can on this to prove in court if necessary.

But don't live in fear.
